OUR HISTORY

Created by Amir Zafar, GRiDD Technologies was established in 2011 leveraging solutions and experience specifically for the premium chauffeured services industry. GRiDD rides on the cutting edge of the technology wave. As we have come to know and understand the nuances of Livery operations we have introduced new technology required to run an essential part of this business more effectively today, and what advances will be required for tomorrow.

GRiDD Technologies CA, Inc. is a SaaS company. We have built a world-class platform integration solution (GNet) that meets the unique technology challenges and competitive pressures currently faced by licensed limousine and ground transportation operators globally.
Working with the previously silo’d legacy dispatch system/software providers, GRiDD has developed a 21st century integration solution to bridge the technology gap that has, until now, prohibited the development of seamless communication between operators and their partners, not only in the United States, but globally.
GRiDD was founded on the principle that a $9 billion industry should have the tools that its service providers and customers need in order to compete effectively in the 21st century without having to recreate the technology already in place.

Amir Zafar

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Amir has over 25 years of experience in system integration and technology related ventures. He founded GRiDD Technologies CA, Inc. in August 2011 in order to provide much needed connectivity solutions for the Chauffeur Driven Industry. In 2015, GNet was launched to solve a crucial and complex problem for the industry which was cross connectivity between transportation providers to serve their clients worldwide. Amir is a proud alumnus of The Hun School of Princeton and has a degree in Technology from Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota In his free time Amir loves to renovate motorcycles, watch and play soccer, travel the globe and spend quality time with his wife and two sons.

Reza Shahbazi

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

A visionary technology leader experienced in spearheading innovative engineering teams and implementing cutting-edge technologies for eCommerce platforms, optimizing performance, and enhancing SEO, conversion rates, and site performance. Consistently demonstrates expertise in architecting robust, scalable solutions driving significant business impact. Adept at implementing clinical development and trial technology. With a track record of leading development across diverse domains, from blockchain and AI to cloud architecture and machine learning, possesses the technical acumen to propel organizations to new heights. Builds high-performing teams, collaborating closely with executives, and aligning technology strategy with business objectives. Demonstrated entrepreneurial success in founding and scaling startups. Executes flawlessly under pressure as a dynamic leader in the technology landscape.

Yasmin Zafar

MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

Yasmin has an extensive background in sales and marketing. Her work experience includes working in marketing for the Motion Picture industry, luxury Real Estate sales, and Managing accounts for Social Media Marketing firms. She has worked with GRiDD Technologies since its inception in 2011. Yasmin is fluent in several languages including Spanish, French and Farsi. Her free time is divided between her husband and grown sons, traveling, entertaining, and spending time riding her horse Luna.

Lisa Jabbar

CUSTOMER RELATIONS SPECIALIST

Lisa was born in the US, but moved to England at age 4 where she attended an American school culminating her education with a degree from Buckingham University, in England. Her work experience ranges from working with and teaching basic skills as a prison education admin, being a successful small business owner and working as a business consultant. Her multitude of skills include accounting, marketing, networking, HR, and client relations. She joined GRiDD Technologies in early 2020 and not only works as our Customer Relations specialist, but also does all the behind the scenes testing for new integrations. Lisa is a die-hard Liverpool Soccer Club fan! In her free time she loves to read, scuba dive, and practice yoga.

Shahram Mirhosseini

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Shahram brings over 20 years of account management experience with a telecommunications background and as a consultant and previous business owner, he provides fresh insight into the software solutions for the transportation industry. Shahram initially attended Ohio State University but moved to San Francisco where he graduated from Univ of San Francisco with a degree in International Business. He is an avid sports fan and athlete having played soccer for OSU and tennis for USF, as well as having played on the National Iraninan Junior Tennis team. Shahram also enjoys hiking and the great outdoors.
